Our natural Amethysts

Amethyst is a variety of quartz prized for its violet hues, ranging from delicate lilac to intense purple. Appreciated since ancient times, it has long been associated with royalty and spirituality, adorning crowns and exceptional jewellery.

At A&L Gemstones, we carefully select our Amethysts, but not all of them are visible on our site. Some rare and exceptional rough stones are only available on request. If you are looking for a specific topaz, please contact us or fill in our dedicated form.

Did you know? Once considered more precious than sapphire, the value of amethyst has declined with the discovery of large deposits in Brazil and Uruguay. However, the deepest, most brilliant specimens are still highly sought-after in the world of fine jewellery.

  • Amethyst lavender → Shade pale violet to lilacoften very luminous. Less saturated but sought after for its delicate brilliance.
